Chicago Concert in Mesquite, Nevada

As I was walking to the line to get in to see and hear the Chicago concert (yes "the" band Chicago), I heard someone exclaim "Oh my God! Look at that...Chicago is playing in the middle of nowhere".

Well, this is a casino gambling town, and quite a few people come here to partake of the excitement of the casinos. But even still, many at the concert could not believe their good fortune to have a band the caliber of Chicago in our town.

And what a concert it was! I challenge any rock and roll band to play so many familiar songs, so many songs a part of "our" past, with such tight musicianship. I learned that the brass players are the personality of Chicago. They are the ones clapping their hands to the beat, and interacting with the huge audience. But each guitar player was awesome to hear. Wow.
