Astrology: Moon Sign, Scorpio

Almost everybody knows their astrological sign. But that is the "sun sign", not the "moon sign". My moon sign is "Scorpio". Now I'm supposed to learn more about Scorpio's characteristics.

I didn't realize that in Astrology, a "moon sign" is important. For example, I am the sun sign Cancer, but my moon sign, Scorpio, represents my emotional and inner self. I am told that many people feel their moon sign energy even more than with their sun sign. (but I'm still not sure what that means, exactly).

So I have learned that Scorpio is a water sign. Water signs are considered feminine, passive, reactive, receptive, introverted, and enduring. Scorpios, like Cancers, prefer to "wait and see what happens" before making any moves. So I guess I am kind of a "reluctant" sort of decision-maker.

Scorpio: MOON Your actions are strongly motivated by your feelings and you are most adept at hiding your true feelings. You possess great willpower and good judgments. You never forget a good or bad deed. This moon position is one of the more difficult ones having more obstacles to face and conquer than others. A Scorpio Moon would tend to be aggressive and dominating, as well as being, willful and stubborn. They have strong beliefs which are expressed passionately. This placement indicates a secretive and extremely independent nature. Intuitive and psychic abilities may be heightened. Jealousy and distrust of others may be evident. It isn't easy for them to share their feelings, it means they would have to be vulnerable. Scorpio Moons are mysterious
